$15.89 for the Camu camu powder! WOW so for under $30 you can have Camu camu powder, aloe gel, veggie glycerin and water! People charge over $30 per 1 oz bottles of synthetic vit C serum! folks really! Let's make our own and have ingredients to make it over and over and start saving our money! Best part we make it ourself and know its REAL and no preservatives!

Just calculate the savings here on such a simple project!

Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which neutralizes free radicals and other nasties that come from daily environmental and sun exposure. Vitamin C lightens the appearance of age spots.

Vitamin C accelerates collagen production, which prevents the fine lines and wrinkles from forming.

Camu camu fruit contains many nutrients including vitamin C, beta-carotene, fatty acids, protein, and others.

1 teaspoon of Camu camu powder: Camu camu is chock full of Vitamin C: 60 times more per serving than an orange! A teaspoon of camu camu powder has 1180 per cent of your recommended daily intake for vitamin C 2 teaspoons of distilled water (bottled ok from BPA free bottle)

your choice (2 tablespoons of 100% aloe vera gel or veggie glycerin) or 1 tablespoon of each) glycerin is for more dry skin, if you just choose aloe use additional aloe if you have dry skin.

Mix the camu camu in a bowl with water until it dissolves meaning not grainy until smooth powder and water mixture. Then add your aloe vera, then glycerin. add to a dark amber bottle through a pour spout or funnel and shake very well. Do not allow the serum in direct sunlight. This is as strong as your serum can get and you want a PH of around 3.5. If you have no PH tester put the serum on under the arm area, if it burns, itches or has a reaction you may need to add another teaspoon of water for a PH change or your allergic, try removing the glycerin and using only the aloe or visa versa.

This can be kept up to a week refridgerate. As a fast fresher tip you can use a 1/2 teaspoon of each every morning making it fresh each day simply mixxing it in the palm of your hand and using it. Apply to the face by simply patting it on after you wash and tone, then to the neck the chest and hands. Then continue your skin care regimen.

This camu camu is organic and a superfood and can be used to be taken internal for additional benefit not only for the skin.

How To Take It Camu camu berries are not sold in our local grocery store, but you can include it in your diet in tablet or this same powder form. The powder can be used to flavour other foods, and camu-flavoured ice creams and drinks are popular in Peru. Smoothies, yogurt, icecream, jello amd more.

(some people asorbic acid powder itr's cheaper and synthetic and not organic so BUYER BEWARE: if your vit C serum contains Asorbic Acid it is not natural; it is the synthetic, incomplete, and usually GMO loaded up. Spend the extra money on Camu camu powder for the real deal!

Why Camu Camu? L-ascorbic acid is a synthetic form of Vitamin C that’s often used in both expensive and homemade skin serums. While it provides potent skin benefits, it can also degrade quickly. Serums with ascorbic acid usually only last about a week before they start to oxidize and turn yellow, which means the vitamin C has become inactive.

The Amazonian Camu Camu plant contains the highest level of natural occurring vitamin C in the world. The small berries are at least 30 times more potent than oranges. So you get the vitamin C skin benefits – plus other antioxidants, vitamins and minerals – from a naturally derived ingredient

WARNING: When You Should Avoid It There is some concern that camu camu can interfere with some chemotherapy medications—you should always let your doctor know about the supplements you are taking, but especially so if you are receiving chemo, for example.
