Grapeseed Oil 101
Can you put grocery store purchased cooking oil on your face and body the same way you can that is sold for cosmetic purposes?
Out of all of the store purchased widely available oils grapeseed oil is my favorite so we will start here. It's also very available to you and I want to let you know that natural beauty products are within your reach at a very affordable rate. Including as you grocery shop.
The only difference is when you purchase a product that is in the grocerystore it is made in a food manufacturing plant that handles food with food permits. As well as inspections by the local health department & when you use an oil that is made for cosmetic purposes it is made in only a cosmetic manufacturing facility.
However, cosmetic grade cannot be used for cooking and obviously while the two are only slightly different never use cosmetic grade oils for cooking as some cosmetic oils are stabilized with chemicals which could be harmful if you consume them even if they say they're 100% pure. If it is safe for consumption it will say safe for consumption if it is not, it will not.
It boils down to this when it comes to your skin. Everybody's skin is different and you may have different reactions to different oils always test the oil in an inconspicuous spot behind the back or ear as close to the face as possible and make sure that you do not have a reaction and allow that oil to sit for at least a day to see if you have any reaction. Many people use olive oil for cooking and for cosmetic reasons but you also have cosmetic grade olive oil as well. I will do a periscope shortly on pure grapeseed oil in the difference between utilizing the storebrand and that cosmetic brand as well as the benefits of grapeseed oil.
Not only is it very available to many people to utilize it's a very easy natural non-chemical beauty product and health product that can be used by virtually anybody very few people in the world are allergic to grapes or grapeseed and it is a non-pore clocking very light oil.
It's full of antioxidants it gives you UV radiation protection it's a humectant which allows you to retain moisture into the skin it helps acne it's a antihistamine mean it helps with anti-aging it's an anti-inflammatory and it's anti-microbial (which means that it's a natural substance that kills or inhibits the growth of micro organisms that causes little or no damage to the host. All antibiotics are anti-microbial but not all anti-microbials are anabiotic's.)
So you can choose which ever oil you want to put on your skin cosmetic wise but always only cook with the food grade product that is sold for food grade.
