DIY Sunscreen!

It's earth day and while it's earth day and we celebrate the amazing earth God gave us that supplies us oxygen, water and beauty we have to keep in mind sun exposure causes cancer. The best way to combat that is with sun screen. To much exposure to the sun causes pre-mature wrinkles, dehydration, damage, sun burn and the list goes on. Here is a simple recipe to make your own home made sun screen. No Chemicals Dyes or artifical preservatives what so ever! Use it on your whole family including the babies.

Natural form of SPF are Wheat Germ OIl & your Vit E: SPF 20 Buckthorn Berry Seed Oil: 30 Red Raspberry Seed Oil SPF 25-50 Carrot Seed Oil – SPF 38-40 Soybean OIl SPF- 10 Almond Oil- SPF around 5 Coconut Oil- SPF 4-6 Shea Butter – SPF 4-6

(all of these oils have amazing natural skin properties that far exceed the natural UV protection) But let's make our sun screen:

Base: Shea Butter (any is fine but Ivory is the best and highest grade that's the wite one) 1/2 cup Coconut oil (unrefined) (not liquid) 1/4 cup (hand mix well (do not melt) melting will make either of these oils lose their additional benefits for your skin and can leave them useless as well)

Next add the ingredients with the highest form of SPF: 10 Drops 100% Clinical grade carrot Seed Oil 20 Drops Buckthron Berry Seed Oil 1/4 cup Wheat Germ oil

Mix well by hand (or whipp) in your dark container with a lid. If this melts on it's opwn that's ok but do not apply your own heat to this. Keep in a cool place when not in use.

*this is ok for the face and entire body.
