Review Leven Rose Neroli Water
First let me say I'm not new to Leven Rose. I have used the Rose Water and it's the ONLY Rose Water on the market I use unless I make my own. As a Holistic Therapist I am very detailed and know when a product is not what it's represented as. Next The Neroli water which is what an orange blossom is... tis the name "orange blossom water " is no exception. When presented with this to review I was quite excited. Why? Because I live in Florida have a orange grove and make my own home made neroli water every time my blossom are in bloom. I knew just what to look for from the time I opened the solid dark 4oz amber bottle with an airtight inverted dome top excellent in it's packaging for storage to prevent fast evaporation. Once I opened the water before shaking I gave it a smell. I could smell deep that their was the actual flower scent not a fragrance. It smelt as though I was distant and walking up to my orange trees just when the blossoms are ready to be picked. It's an art the blossoms have a very different scent when they are at the prime pick moment. After closing the cap again then giving a shake. I could then again smell the scent of the blossoms even more and that scent is the smell of a blossom after you picked it and your now holding it in your hand. This scent unless you have smelled an actual orange blossom in person is not very easy to spot. If it's a fragrance or the real thing a person who hasn't made it or isn't very experienced with it often times wouldn't know the difference. The scent was indeed the real scent and not a fragrance nor an essential oil added. Next in such a review you want to see the appearance of the water. Is it filled with particles or very clear? If fresh and not manufatured on a large scale you will not have pure clean water period regardless of the distillation process, it will have a bit of residue from the flower depending on how the manufaturing is set up in the distillation process. You can soak your blossoms over a long period of time from a few days to a couple weeks or you can steam distill and simply capture the steam I like both but rather method number one because I am getting all the extraction not simply the steam which carries the aroma with some added benefits. So even the benefits of the blossom itself are in the tiny particles from the flower and are of benefit to the skin. Next. What can you do with this. Well for one I would never put such a precious water on a cotton ball. I wouldn't want to waste one drop. Either transfer to a spray bottle keeping it cool dark or in the fridge. Using it sraight up as a spray after you wash your face or skin then pat dry, then spray the neroli water. For one this method if you have acne is excellent for overnight use you will wake up with almost a clear face or one on the way to clear depending on the amount of acne you have. You can also add a bit to your regular toner to enhance the benefits of what you already use. In addition you can use a bit and make your own face toner with added essential oils that you enjoy. Orange Blossoms are not in season in Florida right now because they are already baby green oranges. The option is dry blossoms or go without. I will be using Leven Rose's Orange Blossom/Neroli Water until my blossoms are back in season. I do review this as actual real orange blossom water with zero additives including glycerin which I LOVE! As a Holistic Therapist I am presented with many options to review products and am very picky with what I review as my body is what is use for a review. I am glad I approved Leven Rose's Toner. Just as the Rose is wonderful and pure so is the Orange Blossom! I will be suggesting this toner to those who have acne, age spots or wrinkles who come to me for holistic treatment.
